My Perfect Cousin

It’s incredibly sad and upsetting that we’ve lost such a wonderful man. He really was the nicest man I knew. He always looked out for other people and was so genuinely caring. He was like this as a kid and I can still remember now that he was the person who comforted me on the playground when he found out I’d wet myself in class and everyone was teasing me. Not the greatest moment for the 7 year old me, but it didn’t bother him; he was only interested in looking after me.

The moment he told me he was ill and again on hearing his passing, I immediately reached out to this song. I have it open in my phone now. It’s not just the title, but even down to the Subbuteo battles we’d have as kids! He will be missed so much.
