The Rising Cost Of Love

Oh I miss Rich! He was such a great guy to hang out with and In terms of music he was always a great person to DJ with as we would often each play a track that the other person had not heard before!

He used to DJ upstairs for me at a night I used to run at the 'Book Club' in Shoreditch , London, and I can remember on one occasion when I did my 'check that Rich is OK upstairs' run I was met with that beaming smile and a disco track that I was completely unaware of. Rich proceeded to tell me how good this track was and where he had first heard it. Turned out It was 'The Rising Cost Of Love' by Elkie Brooks.!!

I will miss those moments with Rich but I did buy the LP the following day after that initial 'Rich play' that will always remind me of him. Bless ya Rich xxx
